Mrs. Hietala is the 2nd grade teacher. She received her bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Northern Michigan University. This will be her 25th year of teaching. Her favorite subject to teach is Math because of all the fun manipulatives that you can use to teach the concepts. She really wants to instill the love of reading in her students to help them all to be lifelong readers.
Mrs. Hietala and her husband Brian have four children ages 14-23. When she is not busy at school, she loves to read, go to the beach, go camping, and spend time with her family. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. |
