Mrs. Schmidt graduated from Central Michigan University in 2005 with a degree in Communications. She knew she had to be a teacher, so she returned to school at Silver Lake College to obtain her teaching certification. She feels like she was born to teach!
Mrs. Schmidt loves children; and feels that through her experience working at youth camps, after-school programs, and with AmeriCorps; she has gained valuable lessons and great ideas!
Mrs. Schmidt lives in Hancock with her husband Soren and her daughter Olive. In her free time she enjoys music, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. |
